As I mentioned in my last email, after a crazy couple months of travel, we're taking a little time off through the end of the month to deal with some life admin and to get caught up on a lot of work behind the computer. Since I don't have a lot of exciting travel updates, today's email is going to look a little different. Even though we've been stationary for the last couple of weeks, the FareDrop team has been hard at work! FareDrop's Dream Job Winners! Remember a couple months ago when we were hiring for the FareDrop dream job? Over 700 people applied, we narrowed it down to three finalists, and y'all voted for... Sara and Tony! They are now traveling the world for the next 6 months on flight deals they find using FareDrop! And they are documenting their adventure every step of the way! Sara and Tony's enthusiasm for exploring new places reminds me a lot of us back in the early days! The FareDrop team has made a ton of improvements to the app this year! Now when you click on a deal, you can see all the details including which airline the deal is on, the route, the layovers etc.. We've also added miles and points estimates if you want to use your points to book through one of the major travel portals, and we've added Southwest deals :) Also, check out this crazy deal we found from Dallas to Prague ROUNDTRIP! Van Life in Oman Our final video from van life in the Middle East series was posted yesterday! I think this is probably the coolest thing we have done all year. If I'm being honest, I'm disappointed that what's been my favorite series of the year is getting the least amount of views on YouTube. But for some reason, that tends to be how it goes. This comment knocked me out of my funk this morning though :) I'll take half the views as normal if we're having this kind of impact.
